Balancing Acts

The whole purpose of working with your Chakras is to sustain, boost or restore the energy flow in your body. A free flowing stream is a good visual to use when thinking about how you would like energy to circulate throughout your entire body.

See it traveling at an even, unfettered pace. Now picture the aftermath of a storm (which can be likened to an unhappy or tramatic event in your life). Some areas of the stream may be hardly affected. Others may have leaves and limbs–debris–strewn about causing a slight buildup. And in others yet a whole tree may have fallen and dammed up an entire portion of the stream.

The results can vary anywhere from a trickle of water flowing through (the signs of a severely blocked Chakra) or some water getting through, but not with its full force (as when Chakras a slightly blocked).

The purpose of this blog is to help you (and me) find ways of working with our Chakras to balance the energy flow in our bodies so that it is in optimal operating order. Each day we will focus on one of the Chakras and offer an Rxercise that will help restore or maybe just tweak the balance of that specific Chakra. These Chakra Rxercises are meant to be fun and lighthearted, but at times they may be more involved when they are focued on healing Chakras that are just slightly opened or totally closed.

Starting today, make it your practice to scan your energy in the morning and periodically throughout the day so that you are aware of your energy environment. We will explain how to do that in our next post.

In the meantime, I am wishing you Beauty, Balance and Blessings!
